“Remember awkward school photos? Let’s fix that.”
Every school I work with has a unique brand and personality. Their photographs should reflect that. Some prefer a more formal, studio-style setup, while others — often preschools — prefer outdoor, natural portraits in the playground.
And honestly? That blue scooter in the blurry background might just become a child’s favourite memory one day.
My goal is always to capture each child’s unique personality, not just a smile-for-the-camera expression. I create a calm, relaxed space that helps kids feel at ease, so we get images that truly represent them.
Fun fact: While house-hunting, I’ve often seen my photos proudly framed in living rooms. That’s when you realise how much these pictures truly matter.

When school photos don’t meet expectations, everyone feels the pressure:
Many new schools have chosen to work with me after disappointing experiences with previous photographers. School photography is more complex than it seems — it requires excellent systems, reliability, and a great connection with children. I’ve built my business on being consistent, organised, and calm under pressure.
I also offer sibling photographs on photo day. At smaller schools, all siblings are photographed if time allows. At larger schools, this is done by request or pre-booking by parents.

If you’re looking for a reliable, experienced school photographer in KwaZulu-Natal, I’d love to work with you. Let’s make school photo day something to smile about, from pre-school photography right through to high school photographs
